About Us
Welcome to Yankee- Doodle Pup
At Yankee Doodle Pup, breeding isn’t just a business — it’s a family commitment to doing things the right way. Every litter is raised with the same love and attention we’d want for our own dogs. Our goal isn’t simply to produce more puppies — it’s to raise better ones: puppies who are emotionally balanced, confident, and ready to take on the world.
We believe that a well-raised puppy is built from the inside out — beginning with genetics, then shaped through environment, structure, and daily love. From early handling to carefully curated social experiences, each puppy’s journey is guided with intention.
We follow science-based enrichment and early learning programs — rooted in everything I’ve studied through the ABC College of Animal Behavior, as well as the principles I learned during my years at Manning Equine Veterinary Services. Those lessons in care, precision, and animal wellbeing have shaped how we approach everything we do here.
Our dogs are family first. They live in our homes, play in our yards, nap on couches, and join us for family outings. My mom and sister raise some of our litters in their homes, ensuring that every puppy grows up surrounded by real life — children, laughter, and love. Together, we pour our hearts into giving every puppy the very best start.
Because when you bring home a Yankee Doodle Pup, you’re not just welcoming a dog — you’re welcoming a piece of our family.!
A Family Who Believes in Doing It Right, From the Very Start
How to APPLY
If you’re ready to join our Yankee Doodle Pup family, here’s how the process works:
Fill Out Our Puppy Application
Start by completing our online puppy application form. This helps us get to know you, your home, and what kind of puppy will be the best fit for your family.
Submit Your Deposit
Once your application is reviewed and approved, you’ll receive an email with instructions to send your $300 waitlist deposit. Deposits can be sent by e-transfer to yankeedoodlepup@gmail.com.
Deposits are refundable or transferable to another litter if the desired puppy isn’t available.
Join the Waitlist
Your deposit secures your spot on our active waitlist. Selection order is based on the date deposits are received, though spots may move up if families pass on a litter.
Receive Litter Updates
Once we have a confirmed pregnancy, you’ll receive regular email updates — including breeding confirmations, due dates, birth announcements, and photos as the puppies grow.
Commit to a Litter
When puppies are born, families on the waitlist will be offered the chance to commit to that specific litter by sending a $200 commitment deposit. This locks in your selection spot.
Selection & Go-Home
Puppy selections are done around 6–7 weeks of age (via FaceTime or in person, depending on timing). Puppies go home at 8 weeks old, complete with training foundations, vet care, and a full go-home guide..
